TLN Journal

TLN is active in publishing education material for its members and the wider education community. The TLN school journal has been in continuous publication since 1994. The TLN early childhood journal was first published in 2015. A pilot edition of the peer reviewed Journal of Teaching, Learning and Society was published in 2018.

TLN School Journal

The TLN school journal is a practitioner journal. It has been published every year since 1994. Three editions are published each year with each edition covering a theme. Schools and teachers are invited to submit articles related to the theme with a strong emphasis on practical experience in the school or classroom.

TLN journals are made available to members and published on relevant education platforms.

 

The themes in 2020 are:

  • Differentiation
  • Planning for professional development
  • Social justice and education

Teachers and leaders are invited to submit articles for the journal. In the first instance contributors should email Michael Victory, at mvictory@tln.org.au

TLN members, whether school or individual can access digital copies of past editions of the journal through their TLN membership portal. Go to https://teacherlearning.member365.com to log in check the help section for instructions.

TLN Early Childhood Journal

The EC Journal was first published in 2015. It is a practitioner journal designed for leaders, teachers and educators working in early childhood services. The journal emphasises visual representation of teaching practice in early childhood. Two editions are published each year.

In 2019 the themes for the journal were:

  • Celebrations
  • Risky play

Teachers and leaders are invited to submit articles for the journal. In the first instance contributors should email Michael Victory, at shannan@tln.org.au

TLN members, whether from an EC centre or individual can access digital copies of past editions of the journal through their TLN membership portal. Go to https://teacherlearning.member365.com and log in with username and password.

Journal of Teaching, Learning and Society

In 2018 TLN piloted an edition of the Journal of Teaching, Learning and Society (JTLS). JTLS is a peer reviewed journal that seeks to bring together teacher practitioners and teacher researchers and academics into a conversation. One edition of the journal is produced each year and it is available as an online journal.
