Casual Relief Teachers are often required to understand and manage irritating behaviours and evaluate situations with little knowledge or experience of the classroom environment. The presenter will outline underlying causes, prevention, de-escalation, intervention, and self-care. By the end of the session, CRTs will explore a range of strategies to foster a positive classroom climate and effectively respond to low-level disruptive student behaviours, ultimately enhancing the learning experience for all.
