High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS) are a bank of instructional practices which are regarded as some of the most reliable for delivering learning outcomes. In this 60 minute session we will explore the 10 strategies of HITS; setting goals, structuring lessons, explicit teaching, worked examples, collaborative learning, multiple exposures, questioning, feedback, metacognitive strategies, and differentiated teaching. This course will further develop Casual Relief Teachers’ abilities to engage students by successfully applying HITS strategies. Explore each strategy's significance and explore how to integrate them seamlessly into your teaching practice. This webinar promises to empower CRTs with practical insights and steps to engage learners effectively.
