CRTE2208 Managing challenging behaviours in early childhood
Supporting children with challenging behaviours can be difficult. It is important for teachers to have a range of proactive strategies. This session will explore a range of strategies that can be implemented for specific children but also incorporated as routines for the whole group. Identifying and using a targeted approach and setting up practices to ensure the behaviours are supported, monitored and managed will create a safe learning environment. The presenter will discuss how to work effectively with families and when to use additional resources such as psychologists or therapists.
