CRT2232 Exploring the DET mathematics teaching toolkit
Supporting students to develop their mathematical knowledge, skills and confidence is a critical role for all primary teachers and secondary Maths Teachers, whether you are working as a CRT or in an ongoing or contract role. It is especially useful for CRTs to have a bank of ideas and resources to support students. In this session an experienced and innovative Mathematics teacher will outline some strategies, activities and resources that all teachers can use from the DET Mathematics Toolkit. DET describe the resource as 'Evidence-based approaches for effective numeracy and mathematics from birth to Level 10, including learning plans and videos of teaching and learning practice'.
