Description:
This session which builds on the session CRT2355 on how schools are gathering and using data will explore the concepts of data literacy and data visualisation. The session will begin with how educational data is represented and interpreted by schools and teachers and by the media e.g. national testing results. Having covered some basic concepts, the presenter will suggest some data that is relevant for CRTs to collect, analyse and present visually.
