Engaging activities for a specialist class (primary)

Lesson structure,
Classroom teaching strategies

Description:
It's a great day at work when everyone has fun and everyone takes home an appreciation of the subject. For those of us about to teach Art when you're not an artist, French when you're not a French teacher, or any other specialist subject, when you're a Casual Relief Teacher, engaging activities can make all the difference. In this 60 minute webinar the presenter will outline how to plan and teach any specialist lesson in a Primary School. With a ready to use bag of activities any CRT will be confidant spending the day as a specialist, and enjoy teaching outside their expertise areas. The session will highlight specialist activities as well as setting up, packing up, and cleaning up on time. Student will remember the fun they have engaging with specialist classes in ways they may not have been expecting. By the end of this webinar, participants will be equipped with ideas that work and the confidence to run engaging and effective classes in Art, Music, STEM, and Languages Other Than English (LOTE).
