Amy Cotton is an advocate of early career teacher opportunities and induction, equitable education experiences for all and the professionalism of all teachers. She has a keen interest in digital education experiences. Amy has experience teaching in many NSW schools. In the past Amy worked on formation policy at the NSW Institute of Teachers (now NESA) and as a policy advisor and professional development officer at the Independent Education Union of Australia (NSW/ACT Branch). Formerly she was a project director with Teacher Learning Network’s CRT project and volunteered for over a decade as a director and manager of the NSW English Teachers Association. Amy has been awarded the ACEL NEW Leadership Award and the PTS Outstanding Professional Service Award.
