Sue Pickett is the Additional Needs coordinator, a classroom teacher and an expert in strategies for inclusive classrooms. Sue manages a large team of staff delivering high quality education to students with disabilities. She has had over 30 years’ experience as a classroom teacher including some time in special education settings. Sue’s educational role has expanded in the area of working with classroom teachers, pre service and new graduate teachers, Integration coordinators and Education Support staff from a range of educational settings.
She has recently written a comprehensive manual – Right to Learn: Disability Inclusion at your School, which is full of resources for schools to improve their processes for the Integration of students with disabilities in mainstream schools.
