Primary literacy

Description:
Teachers are now asked to collect a lot of data, but interpreting and using that data to inform teaching practice can be challenging. In this session, the presenter, will explore the literacy data that is typically available to primary teachers and how that data can be used to modify teaching approaches. The emphasis of the session will be on understanding how the data can be used to inform the curriculum planning decisions that you make and the day to day interactions you have with students. The focus is on practical classroom ready techniques that you can readily implement in your literacy teaching.
