Primary numeracy

Description:
In this session the presenter will explore teaching techniques that you can use to support students who are struggling with Maths. The presenter an experienced teacher and Maths leader in his own school will present ideas that you can use to promote engagement with mathematical concepts among students who are struggling with the subject. The techniques covered may include Maths literacy, Maths games, practical exercises to consolidate skills and numeracy ideas that can be used across the curriculum that support the development of the core Mathematical proficiencies. If you have exhausted your own toolkit of ideas. come along and engage with some new ideas and resources. The focus will be on upper primary.
