Storytelling offers many opportunities to foster children's development and skills including engaging their imagination skills, play skills and increasing their enthusiasm for books and stories. Having a story told to you is a wonderful experience. During TLN's Storytelling Day, you will have an opportunity to listen to two different presenters and their love of story telling. Across the day you will : * Learn new ideas and strategies on how to tell stories *Explore ways to engage children in the art of story telling, *Develop ideas to encourage children to tell their own stories * See, play, touch and use props and books that can develop story ideas * Collaborate and network with your peers * Develop your confidence and Practice your skills telling stories * Have the opportunity to share ideas and props you use with others * Ask questions to our presenters who love storytelling.

There will be a light refreshments and a light lunch provided. Unfortunately we are unable to cater for specialist dietary needs due to this being a free event for members.
