The effects of trauma can show up in different and unexpected ways and sometimes at unusual times. It is important as an educator to understand trauma and how to best give or find supports for children and their family. In this session, Sarah Louise will share her knowledge about different types of trauma such as collective, hidden, intergenerational and the death of a friend or family member. She will also share ideas, strategies and resources to support the child and their family.
