Description:
Providing stimulating and exploratory opportunities for young children to engage in is an essential developmental skill. There are many benefits of risky play including problem solving, balance, coordination and building resilience which is why it needs to be planned and encouraged on a regular basis. In this session, Linda will share the benefits of risky play, ways to incorporate risky play regularly into the program and show examples of it in action. This session will also provide the opportunity to gain and share new ideas and resources with other participants and ask Linda questions.

  • 4.2.2 Manage learning and teaching activities
